How is your relationship with money?
Did you know that we all have a relationship with money? It’s about how we THINK, FEEL, SPEAK and ACT around money.
“There isn’t a part of our lives that money doesn’t touch – it affects our relationships, the way we go about our every day activities, our abilities to make dreams reality, everything.”Suze Orman
Money is one of the biggest causes of stress and anxiety, there’s not a part of your life that isn’t affected by money; most people think they have to be struggling financially in order to have a bad relationship with money, and that’s not true, you could have millions and still have problems.
Make Peace With Money is for Everyone.
When you are in financial difficulty it can feel overwhelming; it can make you feel like you are failing, and that you are the only one in a mess. You may also be too embarrassed to even talk about it!
If you have money and feel financially secure, worry and stress can still be there. Money can keep you stuck in a job or a relationship that isn’t working for you. Worrying about saving for that rainy day, or retirement can leave you paralysed in the present moment.
Money challenges can occur at any time in your life, so it’s best to be prepared so you can deal with them rather than getting derailed.
If I won the lottery,
all my problems would be solved……
This is not necessarily true…..
The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards stated that nearly a third of lottery winners declare bankruptcy—meaning they were worse off than before they became rich.
Most people focus on the practical side of money but our emotions and beliefs around money are just as important, if not more so. Many people fail with budgets and cost management because there are negative money blocks getting in the way.
I help you with the practical money work and with improving your money mindset/relationship, in particular your views, beliefs and emotions.
Make Peace With Money is about CLARITY; getting clear on where you are now, finding what from your past is holding you back, and discovering where you want to be in the future.
Together, we will look at your situation with an open, honest and non-judgmental mind.
“You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”Martin Luther King
